MARIETTA, Ohio – Joe Schiavoni got a little taste Wednesday of how a President John Kasich might operate.
For many weeks on the campaign trail, Kasich has described how he would woo Democrats in highly polarized Washington if he were elected to the Oval Office.
Along with calling congressional members’ mothers on their birthday, Kasich says he wouldn’t hesitate to offer rides on Air Force One.
Schiavoni, Democratic Senate leader from Boardman, got the Ohio version Thursday , flying on Kasich’s plane from Columbus to Parkersburg, W.Va., on the way to the governor’s State of the State address in Marietta.
