U of L faculty pursue no-confidence vote against presidentLOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The University of Louisville Faculty Senate has voted to anonymously poll its members to see whether they have confidence in Dr. James Ramsey's ability to lead the school. News outlets report that a majority of the members of the Faculty Senate who spoke during a meeting Wednesday called for Ramsey's ouster, saying he has exhibited both a lack of leadership and transparency. Chairwoman Pamela Feldhoff says a no-confidence motion is scheduled April 20 but could be postponed if two new minority trustees aren't appointed by then. Ramsey, who last month said he wouldn't resign, didn't attend the meeting. University spokesman John Karman says Ramsey has been a staunch supporter of faculty.
