A fire is extinguished at the ExxonMobil complex in Baytown, company officials said. The flames broke out at about 5 p.m. Thursday, sending heavy clouds of smoke from the plant along Bayway Drive near West. There were no injuries from the fire and workers at the facility have been accounted for. There is no need for the community in the area to shelter-in-place, officials said. The company will conduct air monitoring operations around the plant and in the nearby community as a precaution, officials said. The fire did not cause any halt in production. Exxon's 3,400-acre Baytown complex includes the nation's second-largest refinery and a sprawling petrochemical plant.
