PAWTUCKET – A woman who is owed nearly $7,000 by Pawtucket Sen. Jamie Doyle says she’s taking him back to court. Melissa Bruno, owner of Phoenix Administrators in Scituate, said she hasn’t heard a word from Doyle or his lawyers since a March 2 Valley Breeze story about how he’s ignored a 2013 court order to start paying her back for the medical billing services she completed for Doyle Respiratory, a medical equipment company. Bruno and attorney Steven Hart are filing a petition in District Court asking a judge to order Doyle to come before the court to show why he shouldn’t be held in contempt of court. Bruno signed notarized court forms last Thursday and delivered them to Hart last Friday. Someone found to be in contempt of court faces possible fines and jail time. Doyle, a Democrat serving District 8 Pawtucket, has failed to comply with a court order in December of 2013 mandating that he start paying Bruno $200 monthly installments on his $6,843 debt starting in August 2014.
