The state Revenue Department knows that people are pushing those tax filing deadlines, even if they’ve got a few extra days this year. The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue announced it will offer extended service hours for taxpayers to get help by phone, keeping the Taxpayer Service and Information Center open 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays from Monday, April 11 through Monday, April 18 and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 16. Taxpayers can speak to a department representative by calling 717-787-8201. Those working online can also get help through the Online Customer Service Center. Taxpayers have until midnight, Monday, April 18, this year to file state and federal income tax returns.
