Gov. Tom Wolf's approval's at 35 percent, the lowest since he took officeGov. Tom Wolf’s approval rating among the state’s voters has hit another low, according to a new poll. A Quinnipiac University survey of 1,737 Pennsylvania voters released Thursday showed that 52 percent of them disapprove of the governor’s performance. Only 35 percent of the respondents said they approved. The finding comes just weeks after Wolf let a Republican spending package become law without his signature, ending the protracted 2015 budget battle that kept schools and human service agencies waiting months for state funds. “It didn’t take long for the honeymoon to come crashing in on Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf, whose darling status with folks who threw out Gov. Tom Corbett has faded,” said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the poll.
