Linn County Clerk Steve Druckenmiller said that after only three months, the Oregon Motor Voter program has added 1,108 eligible voters. “It’s really good. It is working,” Druckenmiller said of the program that allows adults to register to vote when they renew or get a new driver’s license. According to the Elections Division of the Secretary of State’s Office, the program that went into effect on January 1, has added 34,410 eligible voters statewide. “It’s a solid program,” Druckenmiller said. “We’re seeing that it’s efficient and working.
