‘Property Brothers’ star got into altercation at Fargo bar, TMZ says
FARGO – Jonathan Scott, one of the stars of the popular home renovation reality show “Property Brothers,” was involved in a physical altercation at a downtown Fargo bar early Sunday morning, April 24, a report on the celebrity news site TMZ says.
According to TMZ, Scott “ended up in a bouncer’s headlock” as the bar was trying to clear patrons out ahead of its 2 a.m. closing time.
Fargo Police Deputy Chief Joe Anderson said the incident is under investigation, but did confirm there was an incident around 1:55 a.m. Sunday involving Scott and staff of Dempsey’s, 226 Broadway.
“Mr. Scott did call for police assistance claiming he was assaulted, and we are investigating his allegations,” Anderson wrote in an email.
