Police say Fairmont doctor traded prescriptions for sexual favorsFAIRMONT — Police have arrested a Fairmont doctor for allegedly prescribing inappropriate amounts of prescription drugs to patients. Police Chief Steve Shine with the Fairmont Police Department said officers arrested Dr. Eugenio Menez Thursday after a patient came forward with information that Menez may have been "inappropriately prescribing her medications." Lt. Doug Yost with the Fairmont Police Department said the investigation involving Menez started in 2011 but no charges came from the investigation. Yost said Menez would trade sexual favors with a female patient in exchange for him giving her more oxycodone. Shine said Menez has been charged with 15 counts of delivery of a schedule II narcotic. Shine said Menez is the owner of a doctor's office on Locust Avenue in Fairmont.
