Christian Evangelist Franklin Graham urged thousands of attendees at the Capitol Wednesday to vote their faith at the ballot box.
Church buses from Bullitt to Bedford counties lined the streets around the Capitol Wednesday as hundreds gathered to hear Graham, son of well-known Christian Evangelist Billy Graham, speak during his Decision America Tour stop in Kentucky.
Graham told the crowd he wouldn’t tell them who to vote for, but they had to go out and participate in the process.
“We need Christian mayors, we need Christian city council, we need Christian county officials,” Graham said. “I’m running a campaign for God. I’m going across the country to get men and women like you to go back in your communities.”
