Sanders makes stop in Bowling Green, meets with campaign workersWhen Bowling Green's Katrina Oldham heard presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., was making a stop in Bowling Green Wednesday, she dressed her 9-year-old nephew, Tyler Warden, in his Sunday best. Dressed in a three-piece suit (sans jacket), Tyler caught the eye of Sanders as he made a 20 minute speech to about 50 supporters at the local Sanders campaign headquarters on Russellville Road. The Vermont senator, dressed casually in a rumpled dress shirt, veered from his populist stump speech and noted Tyler's nifty attire, saying it put him to shame. "Can I borrow that tie," he said to laughter. The local stop came as Sanders crisscrossed the commonwealth, where the primary will be May 17, looking to continue the momentum from Tuesday's win in the Indiana primary. Sanders said he believes he has a good chance of winning Kentucky. Hillary Clinton has what many consider to be an insurmountable national delegate lead, but Sanders has shown no indications of leaving the race.
