EMPORIA - A hen who was on the loose in Emporia this morning has been caught and relocated.
According to scanner traffic, at 10:41 a.m., the hen was "attacking people" in the parking lot at 3021 W. U.S. Highway 50, near the Best Western Hotel.
According to Emporia Police Sgt. Lisa Sage, the hen, initially reported over scanner traffic as a rooster, pecked a person and was caught and relocated.
