Four people suffered minor injuries Friday morning after a roller coaster at Six Flags St. Louis stopped unexpectedly mid-ride. The injuries occurred on the Boomerang roller coaster around 11:30 a.m. Medical personnel said passengers suffered minor injuries. They were taken to a nearby medical facility as a precaution. “Boomerang did not complete its normal ride cycle causing it to stop at a mid-point location where all guests safely exited,” Six Flags St. Louis said in a statement. Boomerang is described as a 125-foot tall ride, that sends passengers through 1,650-feet of track at speeds up to 50 miles per hour. It opened in June 2013.
