A local chiropractor charged with filing fraudulent insurance claims is planning to go ahead with a jury trial set to take place in early June.
Jace Ferguson, 47, was charged in January 2015 with racketeering, filing fraudulent insurance claims and communications fraud, all felony offenses.
According to 1st District Court records, Ferguson treated two women for six to eight weeks after a two-car traffic accident in spring 2013.
Both women were insured through Allstate Insurance, and Ferguson reportedly received a total of $7,006 in personal injury protection payments from Allstate.
