Mideast Idaho State University student reportedly stabbed in home invasion
POCATELLO — Abdullah Aldossari, president of the Saudi Student Association at Idaho State University, says a Kuwaiti student was attacked in his home and stabbed Sunday. It is the second attack on an ISU Middle Eastern student in the past month.
Pocatello police released no information about the home invasion and stabbing until contacted by the Journal Tuesday. Police did confirm Tuesday that the incident was under investigation. The Journal learned of the home invasion stabbing via Aldossari’s Facebook post.
Police Lt. Cliff Kelly said persons of interest have been identified, but no arrests have been made in the case.
In his Facebook post Monday, Aldossari said the Kuwaiti student, who was not identified, sustained a stab wound to his arm.
