The fiery former leader of Detroit’s teachers’ union warned late tonight of another mass teacher sickout Thursday, despite the school district seeking an injunction to block such a move.
Steve Conn said he held a conference call this evening with more than 100 teachers from nearly every building within Detroit Public Schools.
"Participants resolved unanimously to continue the protests tomorrow and shut the schools again," Conn wrote in an e-mail.
A post on the district's Facebook page late tonight said there are no school closures to report for Thursday. It urged people to check back for updates.
