Pet store regulations causing quite the debate at the StatehouseIn a room filled with Petland employees wearing bright green shirts, the pet store and animal welfare advocates clashed over a Senate proposal to eliminate ordinances in Grove City and Toledo that limit where pet stores can buy their dogs. A vote on the bill was delayed until next week. House Speaker Cliff Rosenberger, R-Clarksville, is already expressing reservations, saying it might need to be a separate bill. "I understand what they are trying to do...but we should probably allow it to have a broader process," he said.
