Arkansas law enforcement to begin crackdown on seat-belt violations MondayLITTLE ROCK — Law enforcement agencies across Arkansas will step up enforcement of the state's seat belt law during a three-week "Click It or Ticket" campaign starting Monday, the Arkansas State Police said Thursday. Arkansas' seat belt law is a primary law, meaning a person can be ticketed solely for not wearing a seat belt. The law requires all front-seat passengers, not just drivers, to be buckled up. The law also requires all children under age 15 to be properly secured in a vehicle. A child who is under age 6 and weighs less than 60 pounds must be restrained in a child passenger safety seat. If a driver has a restricted license, all passengers in the vehicle must be buckled up. Read more: swtimes.com/news/arkansas-law-enforcement-begin-crackdown-seat-belt-violations-monday
