Sanders and Clinton campaigning in North Dakota shows deep divide for Democrats
MINOT, N.D. -- It’s a strange year for American politics, and that makes it a tough year for those of us who make a living from political analysis and prediction.
Months ago, I would have bet big that Donald Trump would never, ever be the Republican nominee for president.
I’d have lost my money.
I also would have bet against Republicans, who at one point this cycle had 17 potential candidates for president, winnowing their field down to a presumptive nominee before Democrats, who never had more than 6 people in the race.
