Lobbying
Establishes a six-month “cooling off” period for lawmakers before they become lobbyists (HB 1979)
Political consultants
Prohibits members of General Assembly and statewide elected officials from being paid political consultants. (HB 1983)
Campaign funds
Forces lawmakers-turned-lobbyists to dissolve campaign accounts and donate the money to charity, return money to donors or transfer it to a party committee. (HB 2203)
