Albany -- The only thing worse than knowing you have a bedbug problem is learning you have one but weren't told about it.
A number of state Department of Taxation and Finance workers on Thursday said they were unaware that the bugs had been detected in a section of Building 8 on the Harriman State Office Campus.
Several employees, who were enjoying the warm sunshine during their lunch breaks outside the building Thursday, confirmed that they had seen no emails, bulletin board signs or other communications about the critters.
The outbreak was first reported Wednesday on the Capitol Confidential blog.
