BURLINGTON, Vt. - The candidates mounting a campaign to become the next governor took to a Chittenden County stage Friday. Friday's debate lacked the venom of the national presidential race, with only a few veiled barbs thrown by the three Democrats and two Republicans. Republican Phil Scott re-iterated his lack of support for Donald Trump, while his primary competition, Bruce Lisman, remains uncommitted, saying he's wary of turning off the billionaire's fans.
