Carly Fiorina to headline fundraiser for GOP Senate challenger Chris Vance (aka "The Kiss of Death")
Former Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina will headline a fundraiser next month for Chris Vance, GOP challenger to Democratic U.S. Sen. Patty Murray.
Details of the July 11 event have yet to be released but Vance said it will likely take place in Bellevue or another Eastside location.
A former state GOP chairman, Vance is the best known of 16 candidates who filed to challenge Murray’s bid for a fifth term this fall.
Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard CEO, suspended her presidential campaign in February. She resurfaced briefly when Texas Sen. Ted Cruz named her his choice for vice-president — only to drop out of the presidential race a week later.
