In new ad, In new ad, Jeb Bush says Cruz and Rubio are ‘all talk’ when it comes to national securityAUSTIN–Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush took aim at two of his rivals in a new ad Thursday, calling out Senators Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and Marco Rubio, R-Florida, for talking “tough” but voting against military action in Syria in 2013. The ad, titled “All Talk,” shows a clip of Cruz at an event on Dec. 5, 2015 vowing to “carpet bomb [ISIS] into oblivion.” And another of Rubio saying he wouldn’t “shed a tear” if “anti-American dictators like Assad” were ousted. Then the ad shows clips from 2013, when both senators voted against U.S. military action in Syria.
