NEW HAVEN — Police are looking for a penis-painting vandal who's been drawing penises all over the city's Westville neighborhood for about five months.
And just in case the vandal's drawings are too abstract for some, he has been helpfully labeling them "penis," New Haven police said.
The vandal, described by New Haven police as a "member-marking-mischief-maker," was caught on video Wednesday in the doorway of Beth El-Keser Israel synagogue on Harrison Street, where police say he urinated on the building then, after spotting a surveillance camera, blasted it with spray paint.
The painter left his mark nearby on a traffic control box. It was one of six places the vandal painted a penis Wednesday night.
