Mike Hubbard trial: Fate of Alabama House speaker now in jury's handsThe jury is now deliberating in the ethics trial of Alabama House Speaker Mike Hubbard. The jury of eight men and four women began deliberations shortly before 2 p.m. today. At about 3:30 p.m., the jury returned to the courtroom to hear Judge Jacob Walker go over the definition of "reasonable doubt." Walker read the definition, as he had during jury instructions earlier today. Walker then excused the jury from the courtroom to resume deliberations.
