A former judge in Campbell County says he's not the man in a Ku Klux Klan outfit in a photo posted on a website – and Friday sued the managers of the site for defamation. Tim Nolan of California in southern Campbell County said in the suit the photo has damaged his political career and his hopes of starting a new career as a boxing and mixed martial arts promoter. Nolan, a district court judge in the 1970s and 1980s, filed suit in Campbell County Circuit Court against former Campbell County School Board member Mike Combs and others he claimed operate GOPFacts.org. Nolan, who is Donald Trump's campaign manager in Campbell County, has been a tea party loyalist for many years often criticizing local Republican leadership. GOPFacts.org claimed Nolan is the man in the Klan outfit in a Campbell County bar called the Rabbit Hole. Nolan posted the picture with the statement "Comn(sic) out to the Rabbit Hole and join the clan." Nolan quickly deleted the post but it was caught by others who saved it.
