VOORHEES, N.J. (AP) - Prosecutors say a New Jersey neurologist charged with illegally prescribing highly addictive painkillers and other narcotics has agreed to temporarily forfeit his medical license. Prosecutors say William Wolfe prescribed painkillers to people who didn't need them and gave an employee blank signed prescriptions to sell. Prosecutors say the employee used them to pay for car repairs once. Prosecutors say undercover investigators posing as patients were able to receive the prescriptions. The 52-year-old Marlton man was arrested on Tuesday and charged with distributing a controlled dangerous substance. Also authorities arranged for Wolfe's medical license to be suspended.
