Connecticut high school student arrested for alleged handwritten ‘hit list’ threatening 29 classmates
A Connecticut high school student was arrested for allegedly writing a "hit list" that threatened 29 of her classmates.
The handwritten list was determined by a special victims unit to have been created in January, but the school only learned of it over the weekend.
Brenda Wilcox-Williams, a spokeswoman for Norwalk Public Schools, said in a statement that the district has been working with Norwalk Police since learning of the incident on Sunday.
"Families of individuals directly impacted were contacted by the school on Sunday night to make them aware," Wilcox-Williams said.
