MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) — Three Vermont community health centers will share more than $1 million in federal funding to improve dental services.
U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders announced Northern Counties Health Care; St. Johnsbury, Richford Health Center in Richford and Springfield Medical Care Systems each will get $350,000.
Federally Qualified Health Centers now serve one in four Vermonters at more than 50 locations across the state. The system was expanded significantly under the Affordable Care Act.
