BURLINGTON — Police say a Vermont teen who was seriously injured when a pipe bomb he'd made exploded while he was holding it in a car is charged with possession of a destructive device and reckless endangerment. Burlington police say 18-year-old Henry Goldman, of Jericho, is still hospitalized after the June 8 explosion and has not been taken into custody. He is due to appear in court on June 23. Authorities say a search of his home turned up another device. They say he was holding the device in the passenger seat of a car driven by another 18-year-old when it exploded. The other teen was not injured. Police say Goldman had planned to detonate the pipe bomb in Lake Champlain. Read more: www.rutlandherald.com/article/20160618/NEWS05/160619505
