KKK fliers found in driveways of Ocean Springs homes near beach
OCEAN SPRINGS -- Residents in a neighborhood near Front Beach, and some along Washington Avenue, in Ocean Springs found fliers claiming to be from the Klu Klux Klan in their driveways on Sunday.
One home was that of a gay couple, who said they woke up Sunday to a flier with anti-gay propaganda in a clear, plastic Ziploc bag, held down on the driveway with a rock.
Doug Myatt and his fiance, Brandon Hall, live near Front Beach and found one in the driveway.
"I thought at first I was the only one and we had been targeted," Myatt told the Sun Herald. Then he found at least four more on his street and several still in driveways on Washington Avenue at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
