Palo Alto: Former Stanford Hospital employee charged with sexual battery
PALO ALTO -- A San Jose man faces charges in connection with the sexual battery of a contracted worker at Stanford Hospital, Palo Alto police said Thursday.
Luis Enrique Ramirez, 56, was a housekeeping employee for the hospital on March 26 when he touched the genitals of another man who was sleeping in a waiting room, according to a police news release.
The victim, in his 20s, was napping between a double shift and woke up to someone rubbing his shoulders and back.
"Before he could stop the suspect, the suspect quickly slid his hands down the victim's pants and touched his genitals," the news release said.
