N.J. Supreme Court: Allow worker's testimony in East Orange sex harassment caseTRENTON — The state Supreme Court has ruled that a trial court was wrong to bar the testimony of a local government employee in East Orange who claimed the mayor asked her to lie to an investigator looking into sexual harassment claims. In 2009, three employees of East Orange's government — Tonique Griffin, Virginia Best, and Rosalyn Walker — each filed internal reports alleging that they were sexually harassed by Obed Prinvil, a supervisor, according to court documents. The city council hired an outside attorney, Dina Mastellone, to conduct an independent investigation, the documents said.
