Albany -- Erik Maahs shook his head when asked the question: If Bernie Sanders stays off the general election ballot, how would he cast his vote? The 51-year-old Kingston man has supported Sanders throughout the campaign. Now he wonders if he would vote for Hillary Clinton, the presumptive Democratic nominee, or likely Green Party nominee Jill Stein. "I want big changes like everybody else. I want revolution," he said, waiting on line before Sanders addressed roughly 450 supporters in Albany Friday afternoon, "but maybe it can never work that way." Swyer Theatre at The Egg was inspiring yet signaled a difficult upcoming decision: Hold their noses and vote for Clinton, cast a vote for a quixotic third-party candidate, write in Sanders, or just stay home altogether.
