Roswell teacher arrested for embezzling nearly $327K from JJM Farms
A Roswell Independent School District teacher is accused of embezzling $326,907.80 from her former employer, JJM Farms in Dexter.
Michelle Fuentes, 44, of the 100 block of LFD Road in Roswell, was arrested on June 28 by the Chaves County Sheriff’s Office for one count of embezzlement, over $20,000.
She was booked at the Chaves County Detention Center and bonded on a $25,000 surety bond.
According to a CCSO report, the owner of JJM Farms contacted the Sheriff’s Office to report that Fuentes, a former employee, had stolen money from the business. Fuentes was in charge of finances and all financial books for the business, the report states.
