NASHUA — Donald Trump was a no-show for the New Hampshire Republican Party's presidential town hall series, but the front-runner's name came up often as rivals bad-mouthed him. Jeb Bush belittled the real estate mogul and reality TV star as nothing more than a gifted entertainer with a broken ideological compass. “Donald Trump gave money to the Clintons,” Bush said in his remarks Saturday. “Bill Clinton. Hillary Clinton. Clinton Foundation. Donald Trump said that Hillary Clinton would be a great negotiator with Iran. In less than a decade, Donald Trump's views on the Second Amendment, on the cause of human life, across the board on the moral and social issues, have gone from extreme left to I-don't-know-what.” Seven major candidates took turns participating in the first in the nation #FITN Presidential Town Hall at the Radisson in Nashua. Each took digs at two of the Democratic presidential hopefuls, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, but Trump's absence loomed large over the event.
