Louisiana AG Opposed to LGBT Rights: I Love My Gay Brother But ‘The Law’ Matters MoreLouisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry (R) is speaking out about his fight against LGBT rights and how that impacts his relationship with his gay brother. Earlier this week, Landry won a victory against Governor John Bel Edwards (D) when a federal judge struck down Bel Edwards’ executive order granting non-discrimination protections to LGBT state workers. Landry praised the decision. Meanwhile Landry’s brother, Nicholas Landry, has been a vocal LGBT rights activist and said in November that he has essentially become estranged from his family over his brother’s battle against equality.
