WASHINGTON– GOP front-runner Donald Trump has added ‘Born in the U.S.A.” to his rally playlist, mocking his Canadian-born rival Sen. Ted Cruz, and borrowing again from Ronald Reagan’s campaign. Cruz has been swatting away an increasing number of questions about his eligibility to run for president as a natural born citizen, calling the matter settled law. Trump has recently sharpen attacks on Cruz, calling him a risk for the Republican Party if nominated. Trump has said Democrats could hold up the election in court, litigating whether or not Cruz is considered a natural born citizen. Trump, the main ‘birther’ questioning the legitimacy of President Barack Obama citizenship, has flip-flopped in Cruz’s eligibility. First asked in 2013, Trump said if Cruz was born in Canada, perhaps he does not qualify for the Oval Office. Trump echoed the concern last March, months before announcing his own bid for president. So now Trump will get a cease and desist letter from that musician everyone loves that I can never remember (because of no love from me )
