MANCHESTER, N.H. — Gov. Chris Christie on Tuesday morning personally apologized to the mayor of North Wildwood whom he referred to the night before as "crazy." Mayor Patrick Rosenello, who assailed the governor's decision to return quickly to the campaign trail and then criticize him, told 98.7 The Coast that Christie called him to apologize. "I do want to say I received a call from Governor Christie this morning — just a few minutes ago, actually," Rosenello said. "He apologized to me. He also asked me to apologize to the first responders and the residents and the the business owners," he said. "I think he recognizes that he misspoke, and he did."
