Senate votes 34-7 to override governors veto of teacher sick leave billSANTA FE — The New Mexico Senate has voted decisively to override Gov. Susana Martinez’s veto of a teacher sick leave bill. The 34-7 vote easily cleared the two-thirds threshold needed to override a gubernatorial veto. It also marked the first time either the House or Senate had voted to override a Martinez veto. Sen.
