Democrat Russ Feingold raised $2.65 million in the last three months of 2015 — about $1 million more than his Republican rival U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson. The Johnson campaign said Friday it raised $1.6 million during the period. Both campaigns reported similar amounts of cash on hand at the end of 2015 — $4.8 million for Feingold and $4.4 million for Johnson. Feingold and Johnson are meeting in a rematch of their 2010 Senate race. Overall, the Russ for Wisconsin campaign reported to the Federal Election Commission that it has raised $7.42 million since May, when Feingold entered the race for the U.S. Senate.
