Chatham-Savannah Counter Narcotics Team seizes estimated $500,000 of heroinAn investigation conducted by the Chatham-Savannah Counter Narcotics Team (CNT) has led to a record heroin seizure. More than half a kilogram of heroin, with an estimated street value of up to $500,000, was seized. In November of last year, CNT, with the assistance of the Savannah-Chatham police, arrested 47-year-old Terrence Scott of Decatur, Georgia, following the seizure of a large amount of heroin. Scott was arrested on multiple felony drug charges including trafficking, and he remains in the Chatham County Detention Center after being denied bond. CNT continued its investigation into Scott and identified associates and locations in Chatham County where Scott and his associates were believed to have frequented.
