How do I know without lookng it up that Logan's Run was released 39 years ago? Has to do with Democratic politics!
In 1976 Jimmy Carter was running for president. There was a fanous Playboy interview with Carter, which I obtained though I was not a regular Playboy reader. Elsewhere in that issue was a look (!) at nudity in recent movies, one of which was Logan's Run.
Presidential elections are the hooks on which we hang our memories. Well, okay, some use Olympiads or Superbowls or World Series games.
