FRANKFORT, Ky. - Gov. Matt Bevin's proposed budget continued to draw fire from lawmakers Wednesday, with several Democrats on a legislative panel that oversees human services funds objecting to the lack of details. Bevin's plan to dismantle Kentucky's nationally recognized health insurance exchange, kynect, also raised the ire of some lawmakers. Rep. Jim Wayne, a Louisville Democrat, asked if the Bevin administration is trying to save money by making it harder for people to enroll in Medicaid, which they now do through kynect. "Are you anticipating some people are going to fall off the rolls and make this program cheaper?" he asked Vickie Yates Brown Glisson, Bevin's secretary of the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
