Portland police accuse man of 54 sex crimes involving children
Portland police have accused a 23-year-old homeless man of 54 sexual crimes involving children.
Jared Kelly White faces charges of sodomy, sex abuse and unlawful sexual penetration after his arrest Tuesday at a home near Southeast 126th Avenue and Bush Street.
According to court records, the Washington native lists his current address as "couch surfing."
The Portland Police Bureau's Child Abuse Team conducted three investigations last year involving three children and allegations dating back to 2007, according to a news release Wednesday.
