The annual budget address: It looks like Chris Christie's back for good
It was a question of which Chris Christie was going to show up, the good Christie or the evil Christie.
I'd seen the good Christie in the last few days of his campaign in the New Hampshire Republican primary. When you're desperate for votes, you have to play nice.
That wasn't the case when he made a brief trip home to Jersey for that blizzard last month. The evil Christie spent most of his time here flailing away at journalists, local mayors and oceanfront homeowners.
If he could have gotten away with a shot at God for sending the snow that kept him off the campaign trail, he might have tried that as well.
