Vince Young hires famed defense attorney Dick DeGuerin for DWI case
Former Texas quarterback Vince Young has hired famed Houston defense attorney Dick DeGuerin to represent him on a drunken driving charge in Austin last month, the American-Statesman and KVUE-TV have learned. DeGuerin, whose notable clients have included former U.S. Rep. Tom DeLay, confirmed that Young had retained him and released a brief statement Wednesday: “Vince Young is very embarrassed by his arrest. He has faith in the judicial system treating him fairly. He hopes that his experience will serve as a reminder that no one should drink and drive, even a small amount.” According to an Austin police affidavit, Young told the officer he drank three or four bottles of beer at the W Hotel downtown. The officer began performing a field sobriety test, but Young stopped it after he stumbled and refused any further tests. Young also refused to perform a breath test or provide a blood sample that would have allowed police to determine his blood alcohol content. No court date has been set. Even I have read about this lawyer that he is quite good and wins the cases out of thin air. Sadly, he don’t fight for cases in LA. We were lucky that for our cousin who was charged with drunk driving in LA, we got a DUI attorney Los Angeles who was experienced and competent.

Amazing details. For the law students it is necessary to pass Bar test but this is one of the difficult tests so you need proper strategy to get good score. I also would like to join one of the local Bar Review Courses for my test.
