Caucus crunchtime: Democrats hustle to educate voters ahead of SaturdayThe Tuesday before the caucuses, Nevadans young and old gathered at the East Las Vegas Community Center after school and work to eat Mexican food and learn how to caucus. The battle over the Democratic caucuses and primaries has been raging for months for politicians and the media, but for many Nevadans, those discussions are just beginning. A group of 17- and 18-year-old Canyon Springs High School students clustered at a table toward the back of the room Tuesday night. They admitted they didn’t yet know how to caucus, but wanted to learn. Aaron Ibarra, 17, said he planned to wait until Saturday to decide who to caucus for. He said he likes Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’ ideas but thinks they’re too far to the left. “Saturday they say they’re going to try and convince us.
