Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt, who is competing with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for the Democratic presidential nomination, will hold a rally Tuesday morning at the Norfolk Scope Arena.
The rally is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.
Sanders and Clinton are vying in Virginia's March 1 Democratic primary. The five remaining Republican candidates are competing in Virginia's Republican primary that day.
Ohio Gov. John Kasich, one of the Republican contenders, holds a town hall meeting Monday evening (Feb. 22) in Richmond at the Egyptian Building at Virginia Commonwealth University, 1223 E. Marshall St. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the town hall lasts from 6:30 to 7:30.
